BoostC Compiler
BoostC Compiler is the latest generation 'C' compiler that is close to ANSI 'C', and has many C++ features such as templates and function overloading. Supported target devices are; PIC12, PIC16 and PIC18 (check the Supported Devices list to determine support for a specific target device).This is the choice of compiler for all new projects and by those users who want a FREE compiler (RAM, ROM and usage limitations apply) which has no time limitations.
Buying licenses and Applied LimitsAll the SourceBoost compilers are in the SourceBoost IDE software package and when you buy a license you will a key number by email within 2 working days. The license purchased affects the limitation imposed by the compiler. Some licenses only allow non-commercial use.

The term ROM in the table above means program code storage memory, which actually may be: flash, EPROM or OPT memory, depending on the device type.
